Vendor Development Programme for women entrepreneurs in Visakhapatnam
A two-day Vendor Development Programme spotlighting products and ventures led by women entrepreneurs will be held at the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH), Deck Building, Siripuram, in Visakhapatnam on October 2 and 3, according to RTIH representative Prakash.

The programme is designed to bring together women-led enterprises from diverse sectors and connect them with potential buyers, partners and mentors under one roof. Organisers said the event aims to provide a platform for showcasing products, sharing business knowledge and facilitating direct engagement with visitors, MSMEs, start-ups and business owners.
Schedule and focus areas
Activities will run from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on both days on the fifth floor of the RTIH building. Sessions focused on compliance requirements for entrepreneurs and marketing opportunities are scheduled from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on both days, according to the organisers.
The first day will include sessions on business awareness, networking and professional work. The second day will feature product demonstrations, networking and opportunities for collaboration, Mr. Prakash said.
Exhibitors and products
More than 30 women entrepreneurs are expected to participate, representing a range of sectors. Exhibits will include clothing, handmade articles, arts and crafts, and a variety of food items such as cakes, biscuits and other home-based food products.
Networking and business development
Organisers noted that special stalls have been allotted to women entrepreneurs to display their products and interact directly with visitors. The programme is intended to help participants explore products, establish contacts and build business relationships. It will also create avenues for collaboration among entrepreneurs, MSMEs, start-ups and other business owners.
According to the organisers, the mix of product showcases and knowledge sessions is aimed at strengthening participants’ understanding of regulatory compliance, marketing strategies and professional networking, while enabling hands-on engagement through demonstrations and discussions.
