Vadaanya Janaa Society will conduct the Vadaanya Talent Test 2026 on December 13, 2026, across Anantapur and Sri Sathya Sai districts in Andhra Pradesh, aiming to identify talented students from government schools up to Class 10.
The announcement was made at a programme held at the AF Ecology Centre in Anantapur, where the event poster and a preparatory question booklet were released. According to The Hindu, founder Ashok Padapati said the organisers had secured the necessary permissions from the respective District Collectors and District Education Officers.
As part of preparations, Vadaanya has issued a booklet compiling question papers from the past five years to familiarise students with the examination pattern and aid their preparation.
The organisers expect about 10,000 students from government schools in the two districts to take part, The Hindu reported.
Established in 2010, Vadaanya Janaa Society works to expand educational opportunities for rural students through scholarships, mentoring, academic support and talent identification initiatives, and says it has supported thousands of students over the years.
The Hindu noted that several students identified through the Talent Test have performed well in competitive exams such as JEE Main and secured admissions to institutions including IITs and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru.
Y. V. Mallareddy of AF Ecology Centre and other guests attended the programme and commended the organisation’s efforts to promote education among rural students.
Online registrations for the examination are set to begin on November 1, 2026, with eligibility and other details available at www.vadaanya.org.
