‘Maa Nava Puranam’ book released at Andhra University
Maa Nava Puranam, a work by author Meegada Ramalinga Swamy, was released at a programme organised by the Lok Nayak Foundation at the Andhra University Hindi Department’s conference hall on Monday.

The release ceremony brought together faculty and students from the university’s Telugu and Hindi departments, alongside invited guests from the literary community. The programme was inaugurated by Telugu Department head J. Apparao, and concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Hindi Department head N. Satyanarayana.
About the book
Presiding over the programme, writer Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad said the book has been written in verse in a way that would be useful and accessible to young readers. The chief guest, renowned author Bethavolu Ramabrahmam, noted that the work comprises 333 verses and addresses key stages of life, including the student years, marriage, and old age.

Orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Parthasarathi congratulated the author on the publication. Faculty members and students from both departments attended the event and took part in the proceedings.
