Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao on October 18, 2026 assured medical assistance for 13-year-old brain cancer patient Karne Vinay and directed that the boy be admitted to Sindhu Hospital for improved care, The Hindu reported.
Vinay, the son of Karne Adinarayana and Anitha from Narsimhulugudem village in Kusumanchi mandal of Telangana’s Khammam district, met Mr. Rama Rao after former Paleru MLA Kandala Upender Reddy brought the case to his notice the same day.
Mr. Rama Rao spoke with Vinay and his family, inquired about the child’s condition and the treatment required, and encouraged them to remain hopeful, according to the report.
Following his instructions, Vinay was admitted to Sindhu Hospital for better medical care. Mr. Rama Rao assured the family he would extend the necessary assistance to facilitate the boy’s treatment.
