SP Expels 3 MLAs for Anti-Party Activities, Cites ‘Ideological Betrayal’

The Samajwadi Party has expelled three MLAsAbhay Singh, Rakesh Pratap Singh, and Manoj Kumar Pandey for defying the party whip during the Rajya Sabha elections and allegedly supporting the BJP. Terming it an "ideological betrayal," SP’s deputy whip Dr. R.K. Verma said the MLAs acted against the party’s core values and the PDA (Pichhda, Dalit, Alpsankhyak) coalition. The party announced the decision via an official statement on its X handle.

Army Soldier arrested in Amritsar for spying Pakistan’s ISI: Punjab Police

An Indian Army soldier and his accomplice have been arrested by Amritsar Rural Police for allegedly spying for Pakistan’s ISI. Identified as Gurpreet Singh and Sahil Masih, the duo is accused of leaking sensitive military information using USB drives and mobile phones. Gurpreet, posted in Jammu, reportedly had direct links with ISI handler Rana Javed. Authorities are investigating the extent of the espionage network and any possible connection to recent terror attacks, including the one in Pahalgam.
