State-run telecom operator BSNL has launched its indigenous 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) service in Hyderabad, marking its entry into the high-speed home broadband market. Dubbed "Quantum 5G FWA," the SIM-less, fully homegrown solution is BSNL's answer to private players like Jio and Airtel. The service, launched on June 18, will expand to six more cities by September 2025, with plans starting at ₹999 for 100 Mbps and ₹1,499 for 300 Mbps.
