Thieves targeted the Indian Overseas Bank branch in Lucknow's Chinhat area over the weekend, breaking into the bank by cutting through two walls from an adjacent plot. A major fire broke out in a slum near New Alipore Bridge in Kolkata on Saturday evening, destroying 40-50 shanties.
