Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Gorakhpur Link Expressway, connecting Jaitpur in Gorakhpur to Salarpur in Azamgarh and linking it to the Purvanchal Expressway. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has announced a new FASTag-based Annual Pass for private vehicles, allowing up to 200 highway trips per year for ₹3,000.
