Built at a cost of ₹7,283 crore, it is designed for future expansion to six lanes. Toll rates are yet to be announced, and the project marks a major step in UP’s growing expressway network.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has announced a new FASTag-based Annual Pass for private vehicles, allowing up to 200 highway trips per year for ₹3,000. Effective from August 15, 2025, the pass aims to simplify toll payments, reduce congestion, and benefit commuters living within 60 km of toll plazas.
