Speaking to the media outside his home, he reassured fans, saying, "I am a law-abiding citizen, I respect the law, and I will cooperate." Arjun also extended condolences to the family affected by the incident, emphasizing that the tragedy was "out of my personal control." He further thanked his fans for their support during the challenging time. The case continues to unfold as authorities investigate the circumstances surrounding the stampede.

Actor Allu Arjun has been arrested by the Hyderabad police following a tragic incident during the premiere of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre on December 4. The stampede, triggered by the actor’s arrival with his security team, led to the death of 35-year-old Revathi and injuries to her son. In addition to Allu Arjun, three individuals from the theatre’s management have been detained. The actor expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy, offering condolences and a Rs 25 lakh donation to the victim's family. Despite the incident, Pushpa 2 has broken box-office records, grossing over Rs 800 crore globally in just four days.

Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, continues to dominate the box office, grossing a remarkable Rs 417.5 crore worldwide in just two days. The film’s second day collection in India reached Rs 90.1 crore nett, bringing its total to Rs 265 crore. The Hindi version has outperformed the Telugu version, with Rs 125.3 crore compared to Rs 118.05 crore. Directed by Sukumar, the film follows Pushpa Raj’s journey as a red sandalwood smuggler, with a stellar cast including Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna. The movie's success is even more impressive following the massive achievements of its predecessor, Pushpa: The Rise.
