Raj Thackeray warns theatres against screening of Pak actor Fawad Khan’s film

Raj Thackeray, chief of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), has warned theatres against the release of the Pakistani film "The Legend of Maula Jatt" in Maharashtra. In a post on social media, he stated that his party would not allow the film to be screened, questioning why films featuring Pakistani actors are permitted in India. Thackeray criticized the government for allowing such releases, emphasizing the need for action against promoting artists from a country that harbors animosity toward India. He also expressed concerns about potential unrest during the upcoming Navratri festival, coinciding with the film’s release. If released, "The Legend of Maula Jatt" would be the first Pakistani film in Indian theatres in 13 years.
