Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay on Tuesday announced a ₹30 lakh incentive each for para table tennis players Jehan Dorab Madan and Sahana Ravi from the state after they won bronze medals at the 5th Asian Para Games 2026 in Japan.
According to The Hindu, Mr. Vijay congratulated the athletes in a post on X, noting Madan’s bronze in the men’s singles Class 1 category and Ravi’s bronze in the women’s Class 9 category.
He said the Tamil Nadu government would extend ₹30 lakh to each athlete in recognition of their achievements.
