Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday set an end-November deadline to finish preparations for the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026, directing officials during an inspection at Bharat Future City to ready the venue to international standards for the 7–9 December event, according to The Hindu.
During the October 19 visit, Mr. Reddy reviewed ongoing works at the Young India Skills University site and asked officials to accelerate construction so key facilities are completed at least 15 days before their stipulated deadlines. He said the workforce should be augmented where required to prevent slippage.
The Invest Telangana Global Summit is scheduled to take place at Bharat Future City from December 7 to 9 under the theme “Your Investments, Our Assurance.” The government plans to use the platform to showcase the State’s investment opportunities and development ambitions to industrialists and investors from India and abroad.
Underscoring the scale of the event, the Chief Minister asked departments to adopt a systematic approach and ensure arrangements reflect an international investment summit. He instructed that works at the open venue be completed by November 15 and called for a focus on supporting infrastructure and guest facilities.
Mr. Reddy also sought the formation of a dedicated committee to supervise the arrangements for the summit and to monitor progress periodically. He has positioned the summit as more than a business meeting, describing it as a platform with potential to influence Telangana’s political and economic trajectory.
Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister inaugurated the newly built Future City Police Commissionerate at Ibrahimpatnam, opened the office of the Commissioner of Police and extended greetings to Police Commissioner Tarun Joshi.
He later visited the Young India Skills University campus at Bharat Future City and laid the foundation stone for the National Institute of Urban Management (NIUM) campus on the premises of the Future City Development Authority (FCDA). He also reviewed the proposed campus model.
Legislative Council Chief Whip Patnam Mahender Reddy; MPs Vem Narender Reddy, Mallu Ravi and Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy; MLAs Malreddy Rangareddy, Veerlapalli Shankar, Prakash Goud and Kale Yadaiah; corporation chairpersons; Director-General of Police C.V. Anand; and senior officials were present.
Officials have been tasked with completing open-venue works by November 15 and all summit-related preparations by the end of November ahead of the December 7–9 event at Bharat Future City.
