Amit Shah Confirms Use of BrahMos Missiles in Cross-Border Operation Sindoor

By The Sampadak Express

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has confirmed that India deployed its indigenously developed BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles to strike Pakistani air bases during a high-level cross-border military operation named Operation Sindoor. Speaking at a public gathering in Ahmedabad, Shah stated that the operation demonstrated India’s military precision and exposed Pakistan’s support for terrorism on a global platform.

Shah revealed that despite Pakistan’s reliance on Chinese-supplied air defense systems, their defenses remained ineffective and failed to counter India’s offensive. “As our indigenously developed BrahMos missiles destroyed key Pakistani air bases, their Chinese-backed air defense systems stayed dormant,” he said.

Highlighting the scale and strategic depth of the mission, Shah said, “While earlier surgical strikes were limited to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), Operation Sindoor went 100 kilometers deep into Pakistan to target terrorist hubs and infrastructure.”

He further emphasized that Operation Sindoor will be remembered as a landmark moment in India’s border security strategy. “This operation will be written in golden letters when the history of India’s border safety is documented,” he remarked.

The Home Minister accused Pakistan of long-standing denial regarding terrorist activities on its soil, claiming that the success of Operation Sindoor forced the international community to confront the reality. “Terrorists were eliminated with precision missile strikes, and the world saw through Pakistan’s false narrative,” he added.

In a significant disclosure, Shah alleged that senior Pakistani military officials were seen attending the funerals of the terrorists killed in the strikes, providing what he called clear evidence of the nexus between the Pakistani Army and terrorist networks.“

Operation Sindoor not only safeguarded our borders but also unmasked Pakistan’s duplicity in global forums,” Shah concluded.
