In the latest development surrounding the controversial India’s Got Latent show, an FIR has been lodged in Jaipur, Rajasthan against prominent YouTubers Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, Apoorva Mukhija, and others involved in the show. This comes after similar legal actions were taken in Assam and Maharashtra due to inappropriate and obscene remarks made during the episode.

The FIR, filed by Jai Rajputana Singh, alleges that the individuals involved violated several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), the Information Technology Act, and other relevant laws. The case pertains to remarks made by the YouTubers on Samay Raina’s show, which sparked public outrage after the video went viral on social media platforms.

The Jaipur Police, acting on the complaint, have registered the case and transferred it to the Khar Police Station, as the jurisdiction for the incident lies within their area. The Khar Police are now investigating the matter further. This marks the third FIR filed against the individuals associated with India’s Got Latent after similar actions were initiated in Assam’s Guwahati Cyber Police Unit and Maharashtra’s Cyber Police Unit.

The controversy began after a vulgar question posed by Ranveer Allahbadia to a contestant on the show led to severe public backlash. Along with Ranveer, other individuals, including Samay Raina, Apoorva Mukhija, and Ashish Chanchlani, are now facing legal consequences due to their comments, which were considered inappropriate for a public platform.

On February 17, the National Commission for Women (NCW) summoned Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Chanchlani, Samay Raina, Jaspreet Singh, Balraj Ghai, Tushar Poojari, and Saurabh Bothra for a hearing in connection with the case. However, none of the individuals appeared for the hearing, citing various reasons. In response, the NCW has rescheduled the hearings, with new dates set for March 6 and March 11. Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Chanchlani, Tushar Poojari, and Saurabh Bothra have been summoned on March 6, while Samay Raina, Jaspreet Singh, and Balraj Ghai are to appear on March 11.

The case continues to unfold as authorities proceed with their investigations, and the legal consequences for the individuals involved may continue to escalate depending on the findings of the ongoing inquiries.
