India has been elected to the 15-member steering committee of the GlobE Network, a global anti-corruption platform, following a multi-stage voting process in Beijing. With 121 member countries and 219 member authorities, the GlobE Network aims to combat corruption and facilitate asset recovery. A CBI spokesperson noted that India's expertise will be a valuable asset in shaping the global agenda against corruption. Launched in June 2021 at the UN General Assembly Special Session against Corruption, the GlobE Network allows agencies worldwide to share best practices and develop collaborative strategies. India's participation is expected to strengthen efforts against cross-border financial crimes.

Swiggy has officially applied for its IPO, submitting draft papers to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on September 26. The online food delivery platform plans to issue fresh equity shares worth ₹3,750 crore, while existing shareholders will sell around 18.52 crore equity shares through the Offer for Sale (OFS). This move positions Swiggy as the second company to be listed in the food delivery sector, following Zomato. Major investors in Swiggy include Prosus, SoftBank, and Accel, with notable participants in the share sale such as Excel, Alpha Wave, Elevation Capital, Norwest, and Tencent.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached properties worth crores belonging to controversial YouTuber Elvish Yadav and Punjabi singer Fazilpuria. This action follows ongoing investigations into allegations of illegal activities, including the illegal trade of snake venom. The National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) has issued a notice to wrestler-turned-politician Vinesh Phogat for a whereabouts failure, requiring her to respond within 14 days. This follows her recent retirement announcement after being disqualified from the Paris Olympics for being 100 grams overweight before her gold medal bout. As a member of NADA's Registered Testing Pool, Vinesh is required to provide her availability for dope tests.
