NEW DELHI: On Thursday, the BJP declared the appointment of new state general secretaries and joint general secretaries across various states, naming 24 leaders to these organizational roles. This move comes just months ahead of important assembly elections in five states as the party seeks to reinforce its organizational framework in preparation for the upcoming polls. The appointed leaders include names like Satish Dhond, V Satish, Manas Mohanty, and Mantri Srinivasulu, among others. This announcement follows the BJP’s recent designation of state incharges for different regions. Notably, party leader Smriti Irani has been assigned responsibilities for Chhattisgarh and Haryana in this latest round of organizational shifts. These appointments are part of the BJP’s broader strategy to streamline its organization as it gears up for the electoral contests ahead.
