Addressing a massive crowd in Bihar’s Karakat, Modi warns Pakistan and recalls fallen BSF hero Mohammad Imtiaz; inaugurates ₹48,500 crore in projects

Amid roaring public applause in poll-bound Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that India’s fight against terrorism is far from over. Speaking at a rally in Karakat, he said Operation Sindoor, the recent precision military strike across the border, was “just one arrow in India’s quiver.”
“If the hood of terror rises again, we will drag it out and crush it,” Modi warned, echoing earlier vows made after the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22 that killed 26 civilians, mostly tourists in Jammu and Kashmir.
Targeting Terrorists and Their Protectors
PM Modi emphasized that India’s Armed Forces delivered a resounding blow not only to terrorist camps, but also to Pakistan’s military infrastructure.
“This is New India. Pakistan’s air bases and military establishments were reduced to rubble in minutes,” the PM said.
He accused Pakistan’s Army of sheltering terrorists but asserted that they were brought “to their knees in one stroke.”
A Fulfilled Promise After Pahalgam Attack
The Prime Minister recalled his earlier visit to Bihar on April 24, two days after the Pahalgam attack, during which he promised “unimaginable punishment” for those behind the massacre.
“I had promised that those who wiped the vermillion (sindoor) from our sisters’ foreheads would be punished beyond imagination. I have come back after fulfilling that promise,” he said.
Referring to Operation Sindoor as a tribute to the courage of Indian women, Modi added, “The world has now witnessed the power of our daughters’ sindoor.”
Remembering BSF Sub-Inspector Mohammad Imtiaz
Modi paid homage to BSF Sub-Inspector Mohammad Imtiaz, a resident of Bihar’s Saran district, who lost his life on May 10 during cross-border shelling in Jammu and Kashmir’s RS Pura sector.
“Bihar has always produced brave sons. SI Imtiaz’s sacrifice reminds us of Veer Kunwar Singh and Bihar’s proud martial legacy,” Modi said.
₹48,520 Crore Development Push in Bihar
Beyond military matters, the rally also served as a platform to announce infrastructure projects worth ₹48,520 crore across Bihar. These include:
- Four-laning of Patna–Gaya–Dobhi NH–22
- Third rail line between Son Nagar – Mohammad Ganj
- Upgrades to NH–27 near Gopalganj
Political Undertones in an Election Year
While addressing development, Modi also took sharp jabs at the Congress-RJD alliance, accusing them of exploiting marginalized communities under the banner of “social justice.”
“They speak of justice but practiced jungle raj. It was only after Nitish Kumar took charge that Bihar stepped out of darkness,” he remarked.

The Prime Minister’s statements reinforced India’s evolving security doctrine: swift retaliation, zero tolerance for terror sanctuaries, and regional dominance. Operation Sindoor is now not just a military event, but a symbolic moment in India’s anti-terror history.
