Anu Aggarwal Reveals Practicing ‘Amaroli Kriya’, Claims Drinking Urine Helps Retain Youthfulness

By The Sampadak Express

In a surprising revelation, 90s Bollywood actress Anu Aggarwal has opened up about practicing a little-known yogic technique involving the consumption of urine, claiming it helps in slowing down the aging process and maintaining youthful skin.

Speaking to Instant Bollywood, Anu explained that the practice, known as Amaroli Kriya, is an ancient yogic ritual with deep roots in traditional wellness practices. “People either don’t know about it or they choose to ignore it. This process involves consuming a specific portion of urine, referred to as ‘Amrit’, not the entire quantity,” she said. According to her, the method has proven benefits in preventing wrinkles and promoting overall health.

When questioned about the scientific validation of this method, Anu was dismissive of modern medical skepticism. “Science is only around 200 years old. Yoga has existed for thousands of years. So whom would you trust? I fully endorse this ancient practice,” she added.

Interestingly, veteran actor Paresh Rawal had also spoken about this unconventional remedy recently. He shared that during the shooting of his debut film Ghatak, he suffered a serious knee injury after slipping in a fish market scene. While undergoing treatment at Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital, he feared the injury might jeopardize his career.

Rawal recalled being advised by the late stunt director Veeru Devgan to try this age-old method. “Veeru ji told me that all fighters do it and there’s no harm. I followed his advice and drank my urine every morning for 15 days,” he said. According to Rawal, even the doctors were shocked at how quickly his injury healed.

While the practice remains controversial and is often met with skepticism in the scientific community, both actors credit their personal experiences as testimony to the benefits of Amaroli Kriya.
