A government school teacher in Rajasthan’s Udaipur district has been suspended after allegedly forcing a Class 9 student to abandon his exam and clean a chicken for the teacher’s personal use.
The accused, Mohanlal Doda, reportedly asked the student, Rahul Kumar Pargi, to cut, skin, and clean the chicken during an ongoing exam at a government school in Kotada. According to sources, the teacher intended to take the chicken home.

The incident sparked outrage among the local community, prompting them to approach Tribal Area Development Minister Babulal Kharari. Following the complaint, the minister directed Sub-Divisional Officer Hasmukh Kumar to conduct a detailed inquiry.
During the investigation, several students came forward with additional allegations, including claims that the teacher had dismissed the school cook over a month ago. Since then, the students had not received their midday meals, as per locals.
The inquiry confirmed the misconduct, leading to Doda’s suspension by the District Education Officer.
In a separate incident from October 2024, a government teacher in Jaipur, Rekha Soni, was suspended after a video surfaced online showing her receiving a leg massage from a student in the classroom while other students continued studying. The Director of Elementary Education, Sitaram Jat, confirmed her suspension after a preliminary inquiry deemed her actions inappropriate and in violation of educational norms.
Both incidents have raised serious concerns over teacher conduct in Rajasthan’s government schools.
