Security Tightened in Delhi’s Seelampur After Teen Fatally Stabbed; ‘Lady Don’ Suspected

Police have intensified security in northeast Delhi’s Seelampur area following the fatal stabbing of a 17-year-old boy on Thursday evening, officials confirmed.The incident took place around 7:38 PM in the J Block locality of New Seelampur. The victim, identified as Kunal, was rushed to JPC Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

According to police sources, the murder is believed to be the result of a revenge plot allegedly orchestrated by a woman known locally as “Lady Don.” She is said to have formed a gang to avenge a past attack on her brother, and has previously served jail time in a separate case.”

The stabbing appears to be an act of retaliation. We’re investigating the full extent of her involvement,” said a police official familiar with the case.

The murder triggered protests in the locality, prompting authorities to increase police presence and clear the streets to prevent any escalation. “We have stepped up security and are maintaining strict law and order,” a senior officer said.

Following the incident, a team from Seelampur police station arrived at the hospital, and a crime team was dispatched to examine the scene.

A case has been registered, and multiple teams are currently working to identify and apprehend the accused, officials added.
