Hyderabad horror: Ex-Armyman’s Brutal Act boiled wife’s body parts, separated flesh

Date:

Hyderabad: A shocking incident has come to light in Hyderabad, where a retired Army jawan, Gurumurthy, has confessed to killing his wife, Puttavenkata Madhavi, in a fit of rage after a heated argument. The incident reportedly took place in Venkateswara Colony under Meerpet Police Station limits in the Rangareddy district. According to police sources, Gurumurthy claimed that he chopped his wife’s body into pieces, boiled them in a pressure cooker, and then disposed of them in a nearby lake.

The victim, Madhavi, was reported missing on January 18 by her mother, Subamma, after she walked out of her house following an argument with Gurumurthy on January 16. While investigating the case, police took Gurumurthy, who is currently working as a security guard in Kanchanbagh, into custody. He allegedly confessed to the crime, stating that he had killed his wife in a fit of rage.

Investigation Ongoing

The police are still investigating the case, and as of late Wednesday, they were yet to trace the victim’s mortal remains in the lake. Clues teams and a dog squad are working to conduct an extensive search. LB Nagar DCP stated that although the husband has confessed to the crime, they are not finalizing the death until they find out the truth. The investigation is ongoing, and the police are treating the case as a “missing person case” as no evidence of the suspected murder has been found yet.

Gurumurthy’s Grisly Actions

After murdering his wife, Gurumurthy allegedly worked to clear out any evidence. He chopped her body in the bathroom, boiled the parts in a pressure cooker, separated the bones from the flesh, and crushed them using a pestle. He then boiled them again and cooked the flesh and bones for three days before packing them in a bag and dumping them in a nearby lake.

The couple had been married for thirteen years and had two children, who were visiting Gurumurthy’s sister on the day of the murder. A cop cited that Gurumurthy had made up the whole missing drama and had informed Madhavi’s parents about the same. The incident has sent shockwaves across the nation, and the police are working to uncover the truth behind this gruesome crime.
