The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official schedule for the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2024. The exam will be conducted from January 3 to January 16, 2025, in two sessions: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Candidates can access the detailed subject-wise schedule on the official UGC NET website.
This year’s UGC NET will assess candidates in 85 subjects, including eligibility for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor appointments, and PhD admissions. The computer-based tests will take place in two shifts, as mentioned above.
The exam schedule was initially set to begin on January 1 but has been revised to start on January 3, 2025. Additionally, candidates will be notified of their designated exam city approximately eight days before their exam date through the NTA website.
