Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday praised the performance of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the Maharashtra assembly elections, calling it a victory for development and good governance.”
Development wins! Good governance wins! United we will soar even higher!” Modi wrote on X (formerly Twitter). He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Maharashtra, particularly the youth and women, for granting the NDA a historic mandate. “This affection and warmth is unparalleled,” he added.

The Prime Minister assured that the NDA would continue to work towards the state’s progress. Modi also thanked voters for supporting NDA candidates in various Lok Sabha and Assembly by-polls, noting that the alliance’s pro-people efforts resonate across the country. “We will leave no stone unturned in fulfilling their dreams and aspirations,” he wrote.
Modi extended his thanks to the NDA workers for their tireless efforts in spreading the party’s good governance message, further emphasizing their hard work in connecting with the people.
In addition to Maharashtra, Modi congratulated Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren for his party’s success in the state’s assembly elections. “I thank the people of Jharkhand for their support. We will always be at the forefront of raising people’s issues and working for the state,” he said, also congratulating the JMM-led alliance for its performance.
