“Trump Urges Supporters to ‘Vote’ ‘No Matter How Long It Takes’ on Key Day in American History”

Date:

On Tuesday, former U.S. President and Republican candidate Donald Trump urged his supporters to remain steadfast and vote, describing Election Day as “the most important day in American history.”In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Trump rallied voters, stating, “It is now officially ELECTION DAY! This will be the most important day in American History.

Voter enthusiasm is THROUGH THE ROOF because people want to Make America Great Again. That means lines are going to be long!”

He encouraged his supporters to remain patient, emphasizing, “I need you to deliver your vote no matter how long it takes. STAY IN LINE! The Radical Communist Democrats want you to pack up and go home. Together, we are going to have a tremendous victory and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Trump’s comments come as voters across the nation head to the polls for what is considered one of the most crucial elections in recent history. The race pits Trump against Vice President Kamala Harris, who is vying to become the first woman and Indian-origin President of the U.S. Polling stations are open across the country, with voting hours varying by state, typically from 6 am to 8 pm local time.

The first polls are set to close at 7 pm ET (5:30 am IST) in six states, including Georgia, with the final polls closing at 12 am ET (10:30 am IST) in Hawaii and Alaska. After the polls close, vote counting will begin, with initial results likely coming from smaller states, while key battleground states could take several hours to finalize their outcomes.

If Trump wins, he would make history as the first president in over a century to serve two non-consecutive terms, following his 2020 defeat. For Harris, victory would not only solidify her political career but also make history as the first woman and first person of Indian descent to hold the nation’s highest office.
