Singham Again: Salman Khan’s Cameo Wows Audiences, Rohit Shetty Delivers Cinematic ‘Magic’

Date:

Rohit Shetty’s highly anticipated film Singham Again premiered in theatres on November 1, marking a grand entry into his Cop Universe with an Avengers-style crossover. Packed with stars and exciting cameos, the film has already garnered praise from early viewers.

An initial review from the X (formerly Twitter) account Bollywood Bell awarded the film an impressive 4.5 stars, calling it an “action-packed blockbuster.” The review highlighted Shetty’s ability to recreate the magic of Simmba on an even larger scale, noting, “The presentation of Ajay Devgn is phenomenal, especially his entry sequence and fight scenes, which are simply stunning.”

Akshay Kumar’s performance also received acclaim, with the review describing him as a “badass cop” whose action sequences are top-notch. While Arjun Kapoor’s villain character was deemed not perfect, he was praised for his compelling presence, especially during confrontations with Devgn.

Deepika Padukone’s cameo was positively received, while Ranveer Singh’s appearance was labeled “bogus.” The review also lauded the film’s visual effects, stating they exceeded expectations, with the action sequences standing out as a highlight.

However, the standout moment came from Salman Khan, who reprised his iconic role as Chulbul Pandey. The review noted that his three-minute cameo received “whistles and screams,” marking him as a scene-stealer.

Though the film’s team stated that no special screenings were held prior to the release, the excitement around Singham Again continues to build as it competes with Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at the box office. Fans can now catch the film in theatres.
