Bollywood actor Salman Khan has reportedly received another death threat, this time accompanied by a demand for ₹2 crore. On October 30, 2024, Mumbai police confirmed that an FIR has been registered against an unidentified individual following this alarming development.
The Mumbai traffic police received an anonymous message on October 29, warning that the actor would be killed if he failed to comply with the monetary demand. An official stated that the police are currently investigating the threat and working to identify the sender.
This incident follows a previous threat earlier in October, when the traffic police’s WhatsApp helpline received a message demanding ₹5 crore from Khan. In connection with that case, authorities arrested a man from Jamshedpur.
Additionally, on October 28, 2024, a man was apprehended in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, for allegedly issuing death threats not only to Salman Khan but also to Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Zeeshan Siddique.
This is not the first time the actor has faced threats. Earlier this year, Khan received threats linked to the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which is believed to have a vendetta against him. In April, members of the gang opened fire outside Khan’s residence in Bandra, heightening concerns for his safety.
In light of these threats, Navi Mumbai police uncovered a plot by the Bishnoi gang to assassinate the actor, prompting a significant increase in security measures for Khan.
As investigations continue, the safety of the actor remains a top priority for law enforcement agencies.
