A tragic incident unfolded on Tuesday evening when a large fire broke out in the basement of Fusion Homes Society in Greater Noida West. The blaze engulfed several vehicles, with reports indicating that 2-3 two-wheelers were completely destroyed, while others sustained significant damage.

Initial investigations suggest that the fire ignited when children in the society were setting off firecrackers, and some fireworks accidentally fell into the basement. Residents quickly sprang into action, attempting to extinguish the flames before the fire department was alerted.
Firefighting efforts are ongoing, resulting in a chaotic scene as crews work to bring the situation under control. While rescue operations have commenced, a full assessment of the damage caused by the fire is yet to be completed.
This incident follows a previous fire on October 11 in Noida’s Sector 27, which claimed the life of one woman, identified as Shweta Singh, and left three others hospitalized. That fire started from an electrical board and escalated quickly due to the use of firecrackers and a gas cylinder explosion, devastating the entire floor. Rescue operations revealed that two women on the second floor lost consciousness due to thick smoke.
