A case of rape of a 6 year old girl has come to light in Dahod, district of Gujarat. The investigation into the death of a girl has revealed a shocking revelation – the Class 1 student was allegedly strangulated to death by her school principal after she resisted his attempts to sexually harass her. He then throw away her body in the school premises and her bag and shoes were thrown near the classroom.
Police have arrested the accused 55-year-old Govind Nat. Senior police officer Rajdeep Singh Jhala said the body of the six-year-old girl was found on the premises of her school on Thursday evening, causing panic in the area. The post mortem revealed that he died of suffocation.

Police registered the case and formed 10 teams to investigate the matter. The girl’s mother told the police that she used to go to school with Principal Govind Nat every day.When the police spoke to him, the principal said that he had left for some work after dropping the girl at school. The police did not believe it. When they checked Govind Nat’s phone location details on the day of the incident, it was found that he had reached school late that day. When he asked, the principal confessed to the cruel crime. “They picked up the girl from her home around 10.20 am. Her mother helped her into the principal’s car and sent her off. But she never reached school.
The students and teachers of the school confirmed this. On the way to school, the principal tried to sexually assault her and she started screaming,” the senior officer said, adding that the principal strangled the girl to stop her from screaming.
