UP Board to Conduct Compartment Exams on July 26 for Class 10 and 12 Students

Date:

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has confirmed that compartment examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 will be held on July 26, 2025. This opportunity is for students who were unable to pass one or two subjects in the main board exams earlier this year.

Shift Timing for the Exams

Sampadak Express reports that the examination will follow a two-shift format:

  • Morning shift: 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM for Class 10
  • Afternoon shift: 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM for Class 12

The earlier proposed date of July 19 was revised due to the Kanwar Yatra, which required adjustments to avoid logistical challenges.

Board Exam Participation Data

According to student performance data compiled by Sampadak Express:

  • Over 25.45 lakh students appeared for Class 10
  • 25.98 lakh students sat for Class 12
  • 22.94 lakh cleared Class 10
  • 21.08 lakh successfully passed Class 12

The compartment exams offer a vital chance to secure passing grades and continue academic progression.

Guidelines for Candidates

To ensure a smooth and secure examination process, Sampadak Express highlights the following rules:

  • No mobile phones, smartwatches, or electronic devices allowed
  • All exam centers will be monitored through CCTV
  • Students must arrive at least 30 minutes before their exam starts
  • Entry and exit protocols will be in place to prevent overcrowding

For full details and specific instructions, students should reach out to their respective schools. Sampadak Express will continue to provide timely updates and actionable insights for students and families across India.
