A 40-year-old father of four, Kyle Ingram-Baldwin, has tragically died just months after being diagnosed with late-stage bowel cancer despite initially being told by doctors that his symptoms were due to stress.
Kyle first experienced severe stomach pain in October 2024. Believing it to be stress-related or possibly gallstones, he delayed seeking extensive medical evaluation. When the pain intensified, he underwent further testing, including an ultrasound and CT scan, which revealed that cancer had already spread to his liver. The diagnosis: stage 4 bowel cancer.
Despite undergoing six rounds of chemotherapy and additional targeted treatment, the cancer proved aggressive and unresponsive.
Turn to Alternative Therapies
In a final effort to fight the illness, Kyle launched a GoFundMe campaign in early June 2025 to raise funds for alternative therapies. The campaign quickly garnered over £15,000, reflecting the immense support from friends, family, and well-wishers. Sadly, Kyle passed away just a week later, on June 16.
He is survived by his wife, Becky, and their four children aged 12, 9, 3, and 1. In a heartfelt message, Becky said, “He was the most incredible man I have ever met.” She has since launched a second fundraiser to help provide long-term security for their children.
Advocate for Men’s Health
Beyond his battle with cancer, Kyle was a passionate advocate for men’s mental health and was actively involved in a local support initiative, Talking Football. He urged others not to dismiss persistent health symptoms. “If you think anything’s wrong, please go get it checked,” he had said.
