In a shocking discovery on Tuesday morning, the body of an unidentified woman was found stuffed inside a suitcase near the Loni Border area in Ghaziabad. The suitcase was spotted by local labourers near a canal in a deserted stretch along the Behta Hazipur–Bandhala route.

According to officials, the police received a call around 7:45 AM on the emergency helpline 112, after passersby noticed a suitcase wrapped in bed sheets with a body part partially visible. The labourers immediately informed the authorities, who arrived at the scene shortly after.

Ajay Kumar Singh, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Ankur Vihar, said, “The body had been forcefully crammed into the suitcase, and preliminary signs suggest that some bones may have been fractured in the process. Apart from bleeding from the nose, there were no visible external injuries.”

The woman’s identity remains unknown as no identification documents were found on her. Authorities suspect the body was dumped in the isolated location during the night between Monday and Tuesday.

The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Meanwhile, police have registered a case at the Loni Border police station and are scanning CCTV footage from nearby areas in an effort to trace the suspect.

An investigation is ongoing.
