An 18-year-old boy lost his life after being stabbed during a confrontation allegedly sparked by a disagreement over playing music at a local event in northwest Delhi’s Badhola village, police reported on Sunday.
The victim, Bheem Sen, sustained fatal injuries during the attack on Saturday. A friend rushed him to Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial Hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds during treatment, according to officials.
Investigations revealed that the incident stemmed from a minor altercation Sen had with a group of boys on Friday over playing music at a community event. In what police believe was a retaliatory act, the same group allegedly attacked him the following day, inflicting two stab wounds.
A case has been registered at Mahendra Park Police Station. A crime team and forensic experts visited the scene to collect evidence, and Sen’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
Four juveniles have been apprehended in connection with the case. Authorities are continuing efforts to recover the weapon used in the attack and to establish the full sequence of events. Investigations are ongoing to determine if others were involved in the incident.
