In a swift response to the catastrophic 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar on Friday, March 28, India has stepped forward with critical humanitarian aid, reinforcing its commitment to global solidarity in times of crisis. The Indian Air Force (IAF) has played a pivotal role in executing this mission. A C130J aircraft, loaded with critical supplies, took off from Hindon Air Force Station and successfully reached Yangon, Myanmar’s largest city, with vital relief packages. The humanitarian supplies include tents, sleeping bags, blankets, ready-to-eat meals, water purifiers, solar lamps, generator sets, and essential medicines—items that are expected to provide immediate comfort and support to those struggling in the aftermath of the earthquake.”
