Telugu Singer Kalpana Raghavendar Hospitalized After Alleged Suicide Attempt: Sampadak Express

Hyderabad, Telangana – Popular Telugu playback singer Kalpana Raghavendar was rushed to a hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday after an alleged suicide attempt at her residence. According to police reports, she was found unconscious in her home after consuming sleeping pills.

Sampadak Express Reports: Singer Found Unconscious, Condition Stable

The KPHB Police Station officials, responding to a call from the Residents’ Association, broke down the door of Kalpana’s residence and found her in an unconscious state. She was immediately transported to a private hospital in Nizampet. Doctors have confirmed that her condition is currently stable and out of danger.

Husband’s Concern Leads to Discovery:

Kalpana’s husband, Prasad, who was in Chennai, became concerned when she did not answer his calls. He then contacted members of the community to check on her, leading to the discovery of her condition. It was revealed that no one had been able to reach her for two days prior to the incident.

Police Investigation Underway:

The police have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the alleged suicide attempt. According to officials, Kalpana had recently returned to Hyderabad from Kerala for an event. The reasons behind her actions are currently being investigated.

Support from Industry Peers:

Following the incident, several prominent figures from the Telugu music industry, including singers Geeta Madhuri and Sunitha, visited Kalpana at the hospital, showing their support during this difficult time.
