Actor Karan Veer Mehra emerged victorious in the 18th season of Bigg Boss, taking home the coveted cash prize of Rs 50 lakh. The 46-year-old actor received a grand announcement from host Salman Khan on the finale stage, where his hand was lifted in triumph.
Vivian Dsena, who was one of the top contenders, ended up as the first runner-up, while YouTuber Rajat Dalal secured the position of second runner-up.
Earlier in the season, Karan Veer had gained significant popularity after emerging as the winner of the adventure reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, hosted by Rohit Shetty. His success continued on Bigg Boss 18, where he impressed the audience with his strong gameplay and personality.
Karan entered the Bigg Boss house as one of the 13 contestants in October, and after spending over three months in the house, he won the audience’s hearts. His popularity was reflected in a social media poll where Karan was voted as the winner’s choice.
The finale saw Karan, Vivian, and Rajat competing for the top spot, with the final battle primarily between Karan and Vivian. After the evictions of Chum Darang and Avinash Mishra, the three remained in the running, and it was Karan who ultimately claimed the title.
