Box Office Success in India and Overseas

In India, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 grossed ₹158.25 crore net (₹189.75 crore gross) within its first week. Despite facing competition from the much-awaited Singham Again directed by Rohit Shetty, which released with a larger screen count, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 managed to maintain a strong momentum, thanks in part to the Diwali weekend boost.

Overseas, the film continued to impress, earning ₹52 crore in the international markets. This takes its total worldwide earnings to an impressive ₹241 crore for its opening week.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Beats Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan

The film’s success has placed it at number nine on the list of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2024, just behind Singham Again (₹260 crore). It has even managed to outperform Vettaiyan, which earned ₹235 crore despite boasting a star-studded cast including Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, and Fahadh Faasil. This marks a significant achievement for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, especially considering its horror-comedy genre and the tough competition from big-budget films this year.

What’s Next for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3?

Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 brings back Kartik Aaryan in his popular role alongside Vidya Balan. The film also features Triptii Dimri and Madhuri Dixit. With the festive season continuing, it’s expected that the film will see a further surge in earnings as audiences flock to theaters for a dose of comedy and suspense.
