As Ayodhya gears up for its much-anticipated three-day Diwali festival, extensive security measures are being implemented to ensure the safety of all attendees. Over 5,000 police officers, along with 150 commandos from elite units such as the National Security Guard, Anti-Terror Squad, and Rapid Action Force, have been deployed at strategic locations, including the iconic Ram Mandir and Saryu Ghat.
The city has undergone a significant transformation in preparation for the festivities. Additional personnel from various districts have been brought in to bolster security efforts. A state-of-the-art command and control center has been established to facilitate real-time monitoring of the event, while access to certain areas has been restricted to local residents and authorized pass holders only.
To manage the expected influx of visitors, traffic management will be handled by 300 personnel dedicated to ensuring a smooth flow around the celebration zones. The presence of the National Disaster Response Force and other safety teams at Saryu Ghat will further enhance public safety during the festivities.

In a remarkable celebration of light, Ayodhya will illuminate its streets with an astounding 28 lakhs lamps this Diwali. The city is preparing to welcome Lord Ram in an extraordinary manner, decorating every street, alley, square, and temple. Various innovative lighting installations are being set up throughout the town to enhance the festive atmosphere.
