Diljit Dosanjh made a spectacular entrance as he launched the Indian segment of his Dil-Luminati Tour at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on Saturday, October 26. The singer captivated fans with a powerful performance, starting off his show by waving the Indian flag, which elicited thunderous cheers from the audience.
Dressed in an all-black ensemble, Diljit took a moment after his first song to express his joy at returning to India, declaring, “Ye mera desh, mera ghar hai (This is my country, this is my home)!” He thanked his fans for their unwavering support over the years.
Despite an initial delay that left fans restless and uncomfortable in the humid conditions, the excitement in the stadium peaked when the lights dimmed around 8 PM, marking the beginning of Diljit’s electrifying performance. Fans had eagerly lined up earlier to hear his popular tracks like “Born to Shine,” “GOAT,” “Lemonade,” “5 Taara,” and “Do You Know.” Many took to social media to share their exhilaration at seeing their favorite artist live.
After successfully captivating audiences in Europe and North America, Diljit is now bringing his Dil-Luminati magic back to India, with a second show in Delhi scheduled for October 27. Following this, the tour will travel to cities including Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati.
On Friday, Diljit shared a video on Instagram, showcasing his arrival in India and interactions with fans, captioning it, “Delhi Ka Mausam Kya Keh Raha Hai (What is the weather of Delhi saying) DIL-LUMINATI TOUR Year 24.”
