On Friday, October 11, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) unveiled the India National Cricket Team squad for the upcoming three-match Test series against New Zealand.
The squad closely resembles the team that recently secured a 2-0 victory in a two-match Test series against Bangladesh, led by Rohit Sharma. A significant highlight of the announcement is the appointment of premier pacer Jasprit Bumrah as the new vice-captain for the Tests.

The only change to the squad is the exclusion of left-arm pacer Yash Dayal, while the remainder of the team remains intact. Additionally, the BCCI has named four reserve players for the series.
