A memorial service was later held at Kibbutz Nir Oz, where one in four residents were either killed or abducted by Hamas.
The ongoing war in Gaza has resulted in over 41,000 deaths and triggered a humanitarian crisis, further escalating regional tensions. This weekend, the Israeli military launched a new offensive in northern Gaza, targeting multiple locations, including a hospital compound.
