Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, including national convener Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, held the second Janata Ki Adalat at Chhatrasal Stadium in Delhi. During the event, Kejriwal reiterated his commitment to transparency and integrity, raising five questions directed at RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat concerning the political strategies of the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This rally follows Kejriwal’s announcement on September 15 to resign from his position as Chief Minister, stating he needed to seek justice from the “people’s court.” This decision came just two days after his release from Tihar Jail, where he spent over five months related to the excise policy case.
Kejriwal expressed his intention to return to the Chief Minister’s role after receiving a “certificate of honesty” from the residents of Delhi in the upcoming assembly elections scheduled for February.

Atishi praised Kejriwal’s transformative impact on the lives of Delhi residents over the past decade, stating, “In 10 years, he has delivered what no other party has achieved in 75 years. Delhi is the only state with 24-hour electricity supply, and many residents have zero bills. Under his leadership, 10,000 kilometers of water pipelines have been laid, and today, 11 lakh women use DTC buses daily.”
She emphasized the stark contrast between Kejriwal’s initiatives aimed at uplifting the poor and the BJP’s alleged focus on creating obstacles for them.
Additionally, Kejriwal highlighted the challenges he faced while incarcerated, stating, “My insulin supply was stopped in jail; my kidney could have failed, and I could have died.”
As the AAP continues to position itself ahead of the elections, these statements reflect the party’s strategy to emphasize its achievements and connect with the electorate.
