News of an accident has come to light on the Delhi-Dehradun Highway where an uncontrolled truck hit a CNG bus of Bhainsali depot near Wahalna. During this time, a car passing through the highway also collided with the bus.21 people including bus passengers have been injured in this incident. Vehicles were stopped on the highway due to the CNG kit of the bus leaking. After this incident the highway remained jammed till late night.
According to the information, the bus of Bhainsali depot of Meerut had left from Muzaffarnagar to Meerut at 9 pm on Thursday night. There were 15 passengers in this bus, when a truck coming from Meerut hit the bus at Vahlana Cut. Soon after the accident, There was an outcry. The truck driver absconded after the incident.
However, after the highway incident, nearby people reached the spot and informed the police. The injured were admitted to Muzaffarnagar Medical College and District Hospital for treatment. As soon as the information was received, SP City Satyanarayan Prajapat reached the spot with the help of the police team and took out the vehicles by diverting the route.
After the incident, there was a jam situation on the highway till late night. After the accident, the cylinders of the CNG kit of the bus started leaking. Due to which the police stopped the vehicles on both sides. There was a long queue of vehicles. However, the bus was removed from the crane and the cylinders were separated. After this the movement of vehicles started.
