Date:

Actor Govinda sustained an accidental bullet injury to his leg from his licensed revolver early Tuesday morning. The incident occurred around 4:45 AM, prompting immediate medical attention and his transfer to a hospital.

In an audio message recorded from his hospital bed, Govinda expressed gratitude towards his doctor and fans for their support. He confirmed that the bullet had been removed and that he was feeling better. His message, translated from Hindi, stated, “This is Govinda. With the blessings of my fans, my parents, and God, I am doing better now. I suffered a bullet injury, but I am feeling fine now. They have removed the bullet. I thank my doctor, Dr. Aggarwal, and all my fans who prayed for my well-being. Thank you very much.”

Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, stated, “Doctors have removed the bullet, and Govinda’s condition is fine. He is in the hospital right now.” Earlier reports indicated that the actor had lost a significant amount of blood and that his condition had initially worsened.

Sources revealed that Govinda was preparing to leave for Kolkata when the accident occurred, leading to the urgent need for medical care. He is currently admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) at CritiCare Hospital in Mumbai.

His wife, Sunita Ahuja, was not in Mumbai at the time of the incident but has since been informed that her husband is stable and out of danger. Govinda’s daughter is presently by his side in the hospital.
