It is raining continuously in Nepal. So far 112 people have died due to rain while 64 others are missing. Nepal Police has confirmed the deaths of people due to heavy rains and landslides in Kathmandu and other places. Let us tell you that for the first time since 1970, Kathmandu has received so much rain. Due to heavy rains in Nepal for the last three days, landslides and flood like situations have arisen.
According to the statement of Nepal’s Home Ministry, till 10.30 pm on Saturday, about 99 people have been confirmed dead, 68 people are missing, while more than 100 people are injured.Central and eastern districts are especially affected by heavy rains in Nepal. All roads and roads connecting Kathmandu have been closed. Schools and colleges are closed. Due to heavy rains in Nepal and record release of water from both the barrages, Kosi-Gandak has taken a fierce form in Seemanchal of Bihar.

Flood situation has arisen in 20 districts of Bihar from Champaran to Kishanganj and from Supaul to Katihar. The situation is such that 6.02 lakh cusecs of water has been released in Kosi after 56 years and 5.57 lakh cusecs of water has been released in Gandak after 21 years. Due to heavy rains, almost all the rivers of North Bihar are flowing above the danger mark.The water level of these 8 rivers Ganga, Gandak, Kosi, Bagmati, Budhi Gandak, Kamala Balan, Lalbakiya, Mahananda river is flowing above the danger mark. According to the information, the Public Resources Department has created a war room for monitoring for the next 72 hours.
Let us tell you that the dam of Bagmati river has broken in Karwana and Dharampur of Rautahat district of Nepal, due to which water has spread in dozens of villages in that area. All 56 gates of Kosi Barrage have been opened due to which flood water has reached the barrage road. According to officials, gate number 19 of the barrage is not completely open. Therefore water has spread on the road.
In view of the situation, Nepal administration has closed the India-Nepal road. The Water Resources Department has alerted the administration in 20 districts of Bihar and ordered necessary action.
