On Saturday, bomb threats sent via email led to the temporary closure of all malls in Gurgaon and the DLF Mall of India in Noida. The threats, which did not specify exact locations, prompted authorities to evacuate and close the DLF Mall of India as a precautionary measure.

Security teams conducted thorough searches, and the mall remained closed for several hours until it was declared safe. The incident caused significant disruption, with shoppers and staff evacuated, and a strong police presence was maintained at the affected sites.

However, the Noida district administration later clarified that there was no actual bomb threat at the DLF Mall of India. Instead, a security drill was carried out for two-and-a-half hours. A spokesperson for the DLF Mall management confirmed that the evacuation was part of a mock drill to enhance security preparedness.

Despite the false alarm, the incident has heightened security concerns across the region.
